Preferred Technical Skills:
Isolation and screening of microorganisms from environmental samples, anti-microbial testing (aerobic & anaerobic). Environmental monitoring techniques, knowledge on area qualification, validation of microbiology related equipment, testing of pathogenic cultures.
Knowledge on fermentation techniques at bench-scale / pilot scale upstream and downstream techniques; handling of bacterial, yeast and fungal cultures; enzymes, proteins; quantitative and qualitative estimation of carbohydrates, proteins and nucleic acids, TLC, HPTLC, SDS-PAGE etc.,
Other relevant skills needed: computer Microsoft office, statistical techniques, scientific / research paper/ patent writing.
The following are the broad responsibilities for this position:
Identifying new R&D projects for the process and product development.
Finding out new application for the existing products
Writing R&D reports and making presentation
Maintaining R&D, Biotech lab
Preparation of Research manuscript and reviewing the technical aspects of patents
Troubleshooting the technical issues of QC, Microbiology & QC, Biochemistry
Assisting Biotech Production Team for Technical issues in production process
Development and validation of Analytical Method of Microbiology and Biochemistry
All Other Routine works instructed by your reporting authority.
